I thought my dad’s Corvette was THE SHIT. But I’m not sure it was a C5, I remember the interior being some sort of beige. it was some sort of red but that’s about all I could tell you about it.

7 year old me thought these were awesome. 300hp was exactly the same as what WRC cars had and blew my mind. I still want one.

This exact car. Waylon Jennings 1978 Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car. I drove it in and out of a friends shop and fell in love. He bought this car the same year he wrote “Mommas don’t let your babies grow up to be cowboys”

This was mine as well. My dad almost bought one in ‘88 as the family car. I wish he had.

I was the weird little kid that was obsessed with these. Had a collection of die-cast Beetles and everything.

I really got into cars right as the C6 came out. I was 7-8 years old and it was the best car in the world to me.
Also the Ferrari F430 Spyder
I had (still have) a book of sporty cars that came out in like 2004-2005 and that exact picture above was in it, and I fell in love with it. I think I even had a poster of it on my bedroom wall at one point.

I don’t know that I specifically had a favorite, but...
There was someone who owned one of these (exactly like this) around where I lived when I was around 7 or so, and I would occasionally see it either driving around or parked somewhere. I was always excited to see it I seem to remember.
I seem to recall that I had diecasts of both the black and red ones in this picture, plus a battery powered blue GTS like the one above that had lights and would move forward if you pressed a button on the door.
The Viper was also one of my favorites in Gran Turismo 3. Specifically the Team Oreca version. I also had a silver one with blue stripes.

so, 6 year old me loved these because my dad had one. super base model, no power steering, no passenger side mirror. but, my dad lowered his slightly and added a set of wide 14's with sticky rubber.

Box Panther wagons. My mom had an ‘83 base model LTD Crown Vic wagon in baby blue without wood. I always wished it had the fake wood. I lived those cars! And it wasn’t because I lacked exposure to cool cars- we had an R2 supercharged Avanti in the garage.

As a child, I had two favorite cars that were actually made before I was even born. I should note that I’ve seen less than 5 of each of these cars in these colors in my life. I obsessed over them as a child, which led to my extremely strong love and affinity to BMW.
The first was the 1995 BMW 525i (E34) in Imola Red with the 4 Speed Automatic. I’ve seen like 5 of these in this color in my life, but I’ve enjoyed each and every single one.
The second is a car that I also loved as a child because my father bought me a 25 car gift pack as a belated birthday present when I moved to this country 15 years ago. Needless to say, 3 year old me carried this thing around everywhere and I still have it parked on my desk where I can see it every day. It’s a 1992 BMW 750iL (E32) in Cashmere Beige Metallic.
If given the opportunity one day, I will definitely buy more than one of each. I just love them so much.

If concept cars count, the Ford GT90, despite the all-blue interior.
If concept cars don’t count, then.... hmm... I think it was probably the Ford Bronco II? How young are we talking? I was also exposed to Need For Speed at a young age, so the Jaguar XJ220 and McLaren F1 are way up there, too.

I went through a few. First was a Saab 9-3 Convertible. I loved configuring mine on their website using my painfully slow computer.
Then came the Volkswagen T0uareg, Mitsubishi Eclipse, and Audi R8, in that rough order.

I grew up really wanting a C3. Then for the past few years I’ve fallen for a C5Z. Now as I get older, and realize that money is a thing, I want something more of a do-it-all. Current lust is a Focus RS.

Skipping my grandfather’s cars. Didn’t fall in love with the Bronco until much later. I mean, I was 8, so I was still a kid, but when I think of this question, I think of like 4 or 5 year old me.
